Actress and television reality star Payal Rohatgi is all set to tie the knot with her longtime beau Sangram Singh. The lovebirds have been in a relationship for over 12 years. They will solemnise their love in an intimate wedding ceremony on July 9 in Agra.
The pre-wedding festivities, however, have already kickstarted with full fervour. Payal had a zestful mehendi ceremony at her residence on Wednesday. The diva bride rocked a vibrant bandhani outfit for the auspicious ritual.
She complemented the colourful vibes of the ceremony and looked oh-so-pretty in the magenta and mustard kaftaan set.
Take a look at the pictures here:
What Payal wore was a bandhani co-ord set from the label Bodhitree Jaipur. She opted for a breezy kaftaan and wore it with a pair of matching trousers. Her outfit was also replete with gota patti details. In the pictures, she also flaunted her elaborate bridal henna design.
She kept the look for her home mehendi ceremony rather simple. She sported minimal makeup, a pair of earrings and a bindi to complete her ethnic glam. She looked beautiful as she posed against the picturesque marigold setup.
In an interview with Hindustan Times, Sangram Singh confirmed his wedding with Payal Rohatgi. « I don’t think she’ll find a better man than me (laughs). She is extremely genuine. I believe marriage is just a thapa that is needed for society, but I think it is important, especially for a girl’s respect. I also believe that just giving roses to your partner isn’t love, giving them respect is more important. And when you have that mutual respect and your souls connect, you know it’s time to get married, » he further said.
